We are thrilled to share the outstanding success of the Writech Mullingar Pro AM, held last Friday, June 14th, at the prestigious Mullingar Golf Club. As the main sponsors, Writech is immensely proud to have supported such a spectacular event that showcased the spirit of golf at its finest.
The competition was fierce, but it was Pro golfer Liam Grehan from the K Club who triumphed, playing alongside Lenard O’Mahony, Brendan McEvoy & Brian McGinley to secure the win with an impressive 90 points. Hot on their heels was Pro golfer Andy Hogan from Edmondstown Golf Club, who, with teammates Aisling Swaine, Gavin Keane, & Brian Ormond, clinched the runner-up spot with 88 points.
Claiming the third spot with 85 points was Pro Golfer Liam Power from Rathfarnham Golf Club, accompanied by Writech’s sponsored team Garrett Nolan, Alan Quirke & Pat King. Not far behind, in fourth place, was Pro golfer Cian Gerathy from Dundalk Golf Club, who played with David Mullins, Garry Furley, & Garry Kileen, also scoring 85 points.
Special accolades go to Steve O’Hara and Fiona Burke, winners of the gents and ladies ‘nearest the pin’ respectively. The ‘longest drive’ was a spectacular show, with Niall Mulvaney winning for the gents and Paula Davitt for the ladies.
